Events

Monthly Meeting & Lunch is the only event for members only, otherwise other events are for members, partners, guests, and associate members. The monthly meeting is normally held on the first Thursday of each month at the Findon Manor Hotel as well as the lunch there is a speaker followed by any club business and updates.

Coffee mornings are held every 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Roundabout Hotel in West Chiltington.

The Club social committee is very key to the success of the club. They arrange an active calendar of events that include Theatre Trips, Outings, Bowling, Croquet, Petangue, Wine – ‘Call My Bluff’ and sometimes tours with some nights away. There are also specialist event co-ordinators for Golf and Walks.

The Chanctonbury Probus Club has group of keen golfers among its members. They organise around 6 spring/summer/autumn golfing trips to local courses and two annual competitions for our club members for the 'Roy Ward' and the 'Doug Charles' trophies. These pieces of silverware were given in memory of longstanding past club members. 

Walks are held every month on the 2nd Tuesday (with the exception of the winter) and each walk is researched and lead by a volunteer member. The walks are usually around 4 miles and are followed by a pub lunch.
