November 2019 - Associate David Spain attended the Coffee Morning this month at the Roundabout Hotel - he is seen here enjoying the company of old friend and Club Member  Keith Hamsom

 

 

 

October 2019 - Chris Guiver tells us that his parents former founder member, Club chairman and now Associate Ken Guiver together with his wife Pat have moved to Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire - all their friends at the Club wish them both a happy new home near to their daughter.

 

March 2019 - Following the Club's donation in memory of our dear friend Norman Cooper, we have received this very nice note from his daughter Nicola - 

 

"Today we called into the Hampshire and IOW air ambulance at Thruxton to hand over £1526.35 in donations. Mum was also delighted to meet again one of the paramedics who treated Norman on the day so was able to thank them for their care.

I have attached a couple of photos for you as they offered to give us a tour of the helicopter.

They asked to say many thanks for all your very kind donations that keeps them flying."

 

 

April 2019 - Chairman Simon Powlson is pleased to announce that member, Keith Hamson plans to get in touch with all Club Associates together with a recently joined member, Steve Denham, to ask if the Club is sufficiently in touch with Associate Members and to ask if there is more that can be done to improve communications.

10 March 2019

Vice Chairman Graham Moss reports that he and founder member Peter Welch visited the Club's stalwarts Norman Humble and Ken Guiver this morning, a week ahead of Norman’s birthday. (see a few photos of the visit above)

Graham confirmed that it was pleasing to see both men in sparkling form and still very much enjoying their time at The Anchorage.  Peter and Graham spent an hour with Norman and Ken joined them for about half of that time.
