6th August John Wyatt - Explosive Effects and 3 Assassinations

Today’s talk looks at the science behind explosive effects on bodies and buildings and then illustrated by what happened in the investigation of three assassinations in which John was involved, telling the real story of what actually happened in each case.

Educated at the Diocesan College (Bishops), University of Cape Town, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, John spent 23 years in the British Army, mostly as a Bomb Disposal Officer. He then had a short spell with MI6 before starting his own High Risk Security Company.

Awarded MBE for gallantry in 1985 and obtaining a PhD in explosive engineering in the early 90’s, he still works part-time after 60 continuous years in counter terrorism.
